Whiskey Headed Woman

So let me first explain the title, I LOVE the blues, and the title of this post is a Jimmy Burns song. It is pretty much about a Woman who LOVES to drink whiskey and get loco..hmmm maybe I was a friend of Jimmy's in a past life? If you haven't heard it, give it a hear, awesome song!!

Ok so for my outfit I saw that scarf in a thrift store and just instantly grabbed it. I didn't even hesitate or look so see how big it was, I saw, I grabbed, I concored! And maybe it's because the 4th is in 4 FREAKIN DAYS!!!! Woooo I can't wait to share all my pictures form the up comming weekends festivities! back to the clothes, the scarf like I said is thrifted and I bought specifically for the Fourth of July so you will see this scarf again on my post for the holiday, justa warning. The shirt is an oversized vintage eyelet v neck shirt. It is super light and airy. Both of these items will soon be up for grabs on Dutch Oven Vintage. I must apologize for the lack of a hair style, when I was taking these pictures it was so fucking hot out and I was sweating like pig balls so I gave up and put it up in a bun to relieve my neck of a blanket of heat. it helped....

OH and I recieved a lil gift from one of my Besties Catie(you will see me refer to her as My ginger snap, she a red head and HATES being called a ginger) that lives down south in Sunny SD. She works at an UH-mazing hat company called Brixton LTD, I suggest you take a peek @ their website and blog. It is everything surf, vintage, photography, skateboarding, and fashion...Oh so very "So-cal" Bahahah anywase she sent me their Fall 2010 and SS11 catalog....WOW I better start saving $ stat! I told her I might have to start making payments NOW just to ensure I can get everything I want. Keep an eye out for their Fall line, I believe it comes out VERY soon, maybe a couple of months... Their girls line this fall is to die for and they have deff stepped it up! OH and the HATS, OH THOSE HATS...Check them out for yourself, you HAVE to see!!

Wow I have been totally lagging on any outfit updates, but have been very busy thrifting and finding gem's for Dutch Oven Vintage's official kick off. I am hoping I will get all of the pieces up this week, I know, I know I am totally a lagger haha. Anyways I am SUPER excited for the 4th of July next weekend! YAY three day weekend, beers, fireworks and my baby, what could be better? anyone have any exciting plans? I will just be at the beach with my lil Fam Bam hahah.

Random thought: I really need to start my Halloween costume... anyone know what they are going to dress up as yet? I would tell you guys what I am going to be but then I would have to kill you...muahahahah jk...or am I? :)

Here is a lovely shirt and hat that will SOON be up for grabs @ Dutch Oven Vintage. This 1960's embroidered super thin linen shirt is so comphy and a perfect find for the summer. Wear it with jean cut off shorts, clogs, and a wide brim hat for that perfect beach look, or a pair of jeans and pumps for a relaxed night with the girls. The hat is a vintage 1940's wide brim hat. It is in perfect condition with a ribon detail aorund the crown.

*Please excuse the leg bruises, you will see those alot. I bruise very easily...always have.

So I'm am just posting an outfit for today. I don't have anything on that will be for sale, but was just SO freaking excited about getting my new shoes that I just HAD to wear them out. I got these cutie patooties on sale for like 30bux? I think...pretty sweet deal. The belt I have on is one of my LOVES, I bought this baby @ crossroads in SJ. on sale for like 5 bux, I usually don't shop there because the staff is so rude but had a hair up my butt and decided to drop in one day, good thing! It was falling apart a little but nothing some tacky glue can't fix. Josh loves this belt as well.

You will notice I wear alot of Brixton hats. This is because one of my friends in Sunny Diego works there and hooks up the goods. Maybe one of these days when I have more followers I can work something out with her for a giveaway..eh? :)

I have sucha hectic week ahead of me, one of my besties baby shower is this weekend and I have yet to go get her present. I'm sucha procrastinator...

Happy Friday!! I'm proud to present this delightful dress, it's a Vintage silk feather print sleevless, pleated dress. This dress is truly unique and extremley comphy! I bought this dress with the intention of keeping it, but thought it would look amazing on someone a bit taller with bigger boobies. So I will soon be selling this on Dutch Oven Vintage.

School house rocks 'dem wranglers

Hump day..thank godess. I am looking forward to the weekend, I have managed to set up a friend with adopting a new puppie. A friend of my roomate is getting divorced and can't take the puppie with her to her new apartment, so Josh's friend has agreed to adopt her!!Saturday we will all meet up and do the adopting. AW I LOVE Dogs!!! I seriously wish I could have a HUGE ranch and raise 10 dogs! that would be so awesome, the love they give you is like none..well some compare it to a child but I don't have any childeren so for now, my dog is my child!

Anywase had UH mazing Thai food last night. and JUST planned a trip to Seattle and Portland with one of my besties and her friend in the Fall. It should be a blast these ladies are ONE of a kind women. I can't wait to go thrifting up there!!

Here is yet another item I will be selling on Dutch Oven Vintage. Its a Lovely 1960's floral print scarf. This scarf reminds me of School House Rock for those of us who remember it.
